These terms apply to all use of aaronsveganbakery.com and all orders placed with Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, whether through the online Square storefront or by submitting a custom order request. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
About This Website
This website (aaronsveganbakery.com) is operated by Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC, a cottage food bakery based in Cave Creek, AZ. The site is informational — all orders are processed through our Square storefront at aarons-vegan-bakery.square.site or via invoice through Square.
We do our best to ensure product descriptions, photos, and pricing are accurate and up to date. Because our menu rotates seasonally and items are made by hand, photos are representative of the product style rather than a guarantee of exact appearance. Pricing is subject to change without notice.
Aaron’s Vegan Bakery reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. If we cancel an order we accepted, you will receive a full refund of any payment made.
Standard Orders
Standard orders include cookies, cupcakes, brownies, muffins, bars, and other non-custom items available through our Square storefront.
Lead Time
Standard orders require at least 72 hours notice. Orders placed with less than 72 hours notice may not be fulfilled and will be refunded if we are unable to accommodate them.
Refunds & Cancellations
You may cancel a standard order and receive a full refund within 48 hours of placing your order, provided your pickup or ship date is still at least 72 hours away. After that window, standard orders are non-refundable, as ingredients are sourced and preparation is scheduled.
If Aaron’s Vegan Bakery is unable to fulfill your order for any reason, you will receive a full refund regardless of timing.
Custom Orders
Custom orders include custom cakes, tiered cakes, large dessert orders, and any order placed through the Custom Cake Request or Catering Intake forms. By submitting payment toward a custom order invoice, you agree to the additional terms in this section.
Lead Time
Custom cake orders require a minimum 2-week lead time. Large custom dessert orders may require additional time depending on scope and are confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment Schedule
- For invoices under $1,000, full payment is due 10 days before the service date.
- For invoices $1,000 or more, 50% of the total is due 10 days before the service date, and the remaining balance is due 5 days before the service date.
- All payments are processed through Square.
- Your order is not confirmed on the calendar until the first payment is received.
Modifications
- Modifications to your order (flavors, design, size, quantity, etc.) can be requested up to 10 days before the service date, subject to availability.
- If a modification changes the cost of your order (for example, increasing cake size, adding items, or switching to a premium flavor), your invoice will be adjusted accordingly and any difference will be due before your service date.
- Modifications requested between 10 and 5 days before the service date are not guaranteed and will be accommodated where possible, depending on ingredients on hand and scheduling. Accommodated changes may also result in a price adjustment.
- Modifications requested within 5 days of the service date cannot be accommodated.
Cancellations & Refunds
- A full refund may be requested up to 5 days before the service date.
- Refund requests made within 5 days of the service date are granted at the discretion of Aaron’s Vegan Bakery and will not exceed 50% of the invoice total, as ingredients and preparation are already underway.
- If Aaron’s Vegan Bakery must cancel your order for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, regardless of timing.
Design & Flavor Approval
- Final design, flavors, and custom details are confirmed at the time of order. Please review your order details carefully before submitting payment.
- Handmade items will naturally vary from inspiration photos — piping texture, fresh flowers, hand-painted details, and fondant work are one-of-a-kind by nature. Variation from a reference photo is not grounds for a refund.
- Any significant discrepancy from what was agreed upon will be addressed before pickup whenever possible.
Allergens & Ingredients
All items are prepared in a home kitchen that is not certified free of nuts, soy, gluten, or other common allergens, even when a recipe is modified to exclude a specific ingredient. Customers are responsible for communicating any allergies or dietary concerns at the time of ordering. Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC cannot guarantee against cross-contact and is not liable for allergic reactions.
Pickup & Shipping
Pickup Orders
All cake and cupcake orders are pickup only in Cave Creek, AZ, at the time and location confirmed with your order. Once your order has been picked up, Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC is not responsible for damage that occurs during transport, storage, or display — including heat exposure, shifting, or improper handling.
Orders not picked up within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned. Abandoned orders may be donated or discarded, and no refund will be issued. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible.
Shipped Orders
Cookies and select desserts ship anywhere in Arizona via USPS Ground Advantage. While we package all shipped orders carefully for freshness and safe transit, Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by USPS once a package has been accepted by the carrier. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us and we will work with you toward a resolution.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC is not responsible for delays or fulfillment issues caused by events outside reasonable control, including extreme weather, supply shortages, illness, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will communicate as early as possible and work with you on rescheduling or a full resolution.
Photography & Marketing
Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC reserves the right to photograph finished orders for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. If you’d prefer your order not be photographed or shared, please let us know at the time of ordering.
Agreement
These terms represent the full agreement between Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC and the customer for use of this website and any associated order. Using this website or submitting payment toward an order indicates your acceptance of these terms. Aaron’s Vegan Bakery, LLC reserves the right to update these terms at any time — the current version will always be available at aaronsveganbakery.com/terms.
